Jamie Carragher has said on Sky Sports Premier League (10:01pm, March 18, 2022) that Leeds United goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson was “fantastic” against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at Molineux Stadium.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher made the comment about Klaesson after the Leeds goalkeeper made a great save against Wolves in the 95th minute of the Premier League game on Friday evening.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper came on as substitute in the second half following an injury to Illan Meslier.
The Norwegian did not have an awful lot to do after coming on, but he was called into action late in the game and had to make some wonderful saves.
And Klaesson stepped up, getting 7 out of 10 as player ratings for his performance on Leeds Live.

Carragher said about Klaesson: “He has been fantastic as well.”

Big win
In our view, it was a big win for Leeds and has enhanced their chances of escaping the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season.
Now, of course, the red card for Wolves in the second half changed the game.
Leeds were 2-0 down and eventually came back to win 3-2.
Jesse Marsch’s side, though, will not complain.
