Filip Benkovic is on loan at Celtic from Leicester City at the moment.

Benkovic joined Celtic on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Leicester in the summer of 2018.
The 21-year-old centre-back moved to the Hoops on loan immediately after joining the Foxes from Dinamo Zagreb for a transfer fee reported by The Sun to be worth £13 million.
Ajer, also 21, wants the Croatia Under-21 international to be at Celtic next season.
Ajer told The Scottish Sun about Benkovic: “That would be great — Filip’s a top quality centre-half and a great guy around the dressing room as well. “It would be fantastic if he was here again next season.”

Back to Celtic
Benkovic is scheduled to return to his parent club Leicester in the summer transfer window, and one suspects that Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers will look at him in pre-season first before making a decision on his future.
Rodgers worked with the 21-year-old at Celtic this season, and the former Liverpool manager will know all about him.
According to WhoScored, Benkovic has made 16 starts and three substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic this season, scoring two goals in the process.
