Celtic currently sit top of the Scottish Premiership table with a healthy eight-point lead.

Kristoffer Ajer has shared that Neil Lennon has changed the way Celtic ‘build up’ in their play, but on the main, he has kept things ‘quite similar’ from the recently departed Brendan Rodgers.
Since Lennon has returned to Parkhead, he has won two games on the bounce, one in the Scottish Premiership and the other in the Scottish Cup.
As a result, his side have maintained their eight-point lead at the top of the table and progressed through to the semi-finals of the cup where they will face either Aberdeen or Rangers.
Nonetheless, centre-back, Ajer spoke about doing his homework on Lennon before he rejoined the club and revealed that captain Scott Brown has been a ‘leader’ since Rodgers’ departure.
“Of course, I’d watched a lot of Celtic clips before I came here and I saw how he played and what he was like as a manager,” said Ajer, as quoted by the Scotsman. “I’m really looking forward to working with him and learning from him
“The gaffer has kept things quite similar to what we’ve been used to. A few changes have been made but nothing drastic – just things like how he wants us to build up.
“Broony [Scott Brown]’s also’s been helping the whole squad over the past week. You’ve seen the way he is in games and the goals he’s scored; he’s been a leader throughout the whole thing.”

After taking over from Rodgers, who left for Leicester City after winning seven domestic trophies, Lennon has the chance of completing his work and winning the treble-treble at the end of the season.
Lennon already knows what it takes to win the Premiership title after doing it as a player and then as a manager at Parkhead, so he won’t be too fazed about what will be coming his way.
As mentioned, the Bhoys are eight points clear of Rangers in the table, with the Old Firm derby set to take place at the end of this month, a defeat for Steven Gerrard’s men will surely end their hopes of catching them in the race for the title.
Ahead of the weekend games, Lennon’s side will host Aberdeen at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon, with Rangers travelling to Hibernian on Friday.
