Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face RB Leipzig in the Europa League this week.

Kris Commons has suggested in The Daily Mail that Celtic Park is not a fortress for Celtic anymore.
The former Celtic and Nottingham Forest attacking midfielder made the comments ahead of the Hoops’ Europa League game against RB Leipzig on Thursday evening.
The 35-year-old former Scotland international has revealed the discussion he had over the weekend with a former Forest teammate who now works for RB Leipzig.
Commons has suggested that this unnamed former Forest teammate was not worried despite watching Celtic hammer Heart of Midlothian 5-0 at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
“I spoke to a good friend of mine over the weekend,” Commons wrote in The Daily Mail. “I used to play with him at Nottingham Forest and he now works for RB Leipzig.
“He was watching Celtic against Hearts at the weekend. Yet, despite the result and performance from Brendan Rodgers’ side, I could sense confidence in my mate’s voice.
“The Germans fancy it big time on Thursday night and it seems pretty clear now that Celtic Park is not viewed as the fortress it once was.
“Visiting teams no longer feel intimidated and the only way Celtic can change that is by winning games on a consistent basis.”

Progressing in Europe
Celtic are back to their best in Scotland, and it looks like that they will soon open up a huge gap between themselves and the rest of the team aiming to challenge for the Scottish Premiership title.
However, it is in Europe that the Hoops need to improve, especially this season when they could not progress to the group stage of the Champions League.
The Hoops could still advance to the knockout rounds of the Europa League, but for that they need to win against Leipzig on Thursday evening.
