Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers won against Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday.

Hayes featured for Celtic in their Scottish Premiership game against Rangers away from home at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
The Hoops headed into the Old Firm derby high on confidence, but it was Steven Gerrard’s side who picked up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-0 win.
The Bhoys failed to play at their usual high level and a number of their players were found wanting, but former Celtic attacking midfielder Commons was pleased with the display produced by winger Hayes.
Commons said on Sky Sports Main Event on Sunday afternoon (2:08pm, May 12, 2019): “I thought Jonny Hayes was the only one that actually had the intent to actually try and take the game to Rangers just by running.”

Meanwhile, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has not given a direct answer regarding the controversial incident between Jon Flanagan and Celtic midfielder Scott Brown in the Old Firm derby.
Rangers defender Flanagan was shown a yellow card after he appeared to elbow Brown inside the Gers’ penalty box while a corner was about to be taken 10 minutes into the second half.
Gerrard said on Sky Sports Main Event on Sunday afternoon (2:12pm, May 12, 2019) when asked about the incident: “I am not interested in all that. I am interested in that these supporters can enjoy the beer tonight and enjoy the Old Firm win.”
