Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers brought Ovie Ejaria to Ibrox on loan from Liverpool.
Rangers midfielder Ovie Ejaria
Ejaria joined Rangers on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window and is doing quite well for Steven Gerrard’s Gers at the moment.
The 20-year-old midfielder has scored one goal in eight Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Former Celtic attacking midfielder Commons, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, has praised the England Under-21 international – who earns £2000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – and has compared him to former Nigeria international forward and Arsenal Invincible Kanu.
Commons wrote in The Daily Mail: “I like Ovie Ejaria. He reminds me of Kanu, the former Arsenal striker. He looks quite gangly and unorthodox, but he’s got a silky touch and good movement.”

Going strong
Rangers are going strong in the Scottish Premiership at the moment and are very much in the race for the title.
The Gers do have a good bunch of players, and Rangers manager Gerrard has moulded them into a strong team.
While there are issues defensively, it is only a matter of time before those are ironed out.
Rangers are also looking to make an impact in the Europa League and progress to the knockout stages of the competition.
