Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Uche Ikpeazu, and so do Neil Lennon’s Celtic.

Uche Ikpeazu is a player in demand, with Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic reported to be interested in the Heart of Midlothian forward.
According to a report in The Sun, Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing Hearts forward Ikpeazu in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that both the Gers and the Hoops are tracking the 24-year-old forward.
Former Celtic attacking midfielder Kris Commons seems to rate Ikpeazu highly, and he has given his take on the former Reading and Watford prospect.
Commons said about Ikpeazu on Sky Sports Football (11:50am, April 20, 2019): “He looks, obviously, physically a great specimen, a guy that can on his own take on two centre-halves with ease.
“He can link the play, he can also see a pass, he has got goals on both feet, he is a danger in the air.”

Good signing for Celtic or Rangers?
Ikpeazu is a very strong and capable forward who can be a nuisance to the opposition defenders, and the Hearts star will be a good signing for Rangers or Celtic in the summer transfer window.
However, the forward is not very prolific, and that could deter him from becoming the first-choice striker at Rangers or Celtic.
According to WhoScored, Ikpeazu has made 13 starts and two substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Hearts so far this season, scoring two goals in the process.
