Kris Commons suggested on the SPFL Matters show on Sky Sports Football (May 10, 2019) that Liverpool-owned Rangers winger Ryan Kent needs to add goals to his game.

The former Celtic attacking midfielder believes that the only thing that is lacking from Kent’s game is goals.

The winger joined Scottish Premiership side Rangers on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Liverpool in the summer of 2018.

Commons said about Kent on the SPFL Matters show on Sky Sports Football (May 10, 2019): “I would say the only thing that’s lacking from his game, with the amount of football that he has played, is the amount of goals that he gets because he does get into good positions.”

Need for more goals

Kent has been superb for Rangers this season, and his loan spell at Ibrox from Premier League club Liverpool has been a success.

The 22-year-old has been brilliant for Steven Gerrard’s side on the wing, and the youngster has entertained and enthralled the Ibrox faithful.

However, it is true that Kent does not score enough goals, especially as the English youngster gets into some very good goalscoring positions.

According to WhoScored, Kent has scored six goals in 26 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers this season.

Kent himself knows that he has to score more goals, as the Liverpool-owned winger recently told The Scottish Sun.
