Celtic have been linked with a move for the Aberdeen defender.

Kris Commons has told BBC Sportsound that he doesn’t believe Celtic boss necessarily likes Scott McKenna as a centre-back.
According to The Scottish Sun, Aberdeen have rejected a £3.5 million bid from Celtic for the 21-year-old defender.
Dedryck Boyata’s situation at Parkhead has given rise to suggestions that the Hoops will need more defensive options, in addition to Jozo Simunovic, Kristoffer Ajer and Jack Hendry.
McKenna, who has four caps for Scotland, has only managed 33 Premiership outings for Aberdeen, having spent recent seasons on loan at various clubs.
And former Celtic star Commons, speaking to BBC Sportsound, isn’t entirely convinced that he is the type of centre-back that Rodgers would typically be a fan of.
“I’ve not seen anything to convince me that McKenna’s the sort of centre-half that Brendan Rodgers likes… a player that goes into the midfield that wants to commit midfield players and is comfortable on the ball. He’s more the old fashioned type.
“If you’ve got Dedryck Boyata, Jozo Simunovic, Kristoffer Ajer and Jack Hendry all fit, I think he’s just one of those.
“It’s not like he’s a standout and is certainly playing in the back four because I don’t think he’s got all the tools to play how Celtic play at the minute.”
Rodgers said he was willing to let bygones be bygones with Boyata, but Turkish outlet Fanatik reported this week that he remains determined to leave Glasgow.
Celtic might need another centre-back and is McKenna – valued at £10 million by the Dons, according to The Record – the best solution? Time will tell.
