James Forrest scored four goals for Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic this past weekend.

The former Celtic attacking midfielder was impressed with Forrest’s performance for the Hoops against St. Johnstone this past weekend.
The 27-year-old Scotland international winger scored four goals in Celtic’s 6-0 victory over St. Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership this past Sunday afternoon.
Commons has suggested that Forrest can earn a move to the Premier League if he scores 20 goals, helps Celtic win the Scottish Premiership and wins every individual accolade in Scotland.
“For Forrest, it shouldn’t be just the PFA award he’s targeting,” Commons wrote in The Daily Mail. “It should be 20 goals, the league title, and every individual accolade in the country.
“If he does that, there’s no chance he will still be at Celtic in four years’ time. He’ll be playing in the English Premier League.”

Future Premier League move
Forrest has been at Celtic his entire professional club football career so far, and it is hard to see the Scotland international winger force a move away, even to a club in the Premier League.
While leaving the Scottish Premiership for the Premier League would be a massive step-up for the 27-year-old, the question is whether the winger would be able to attract a club on a level as Celtic in England.
