Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is reportedly wanted by Nice.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership, and the Colombia international is in good form for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club at the moment.
According to BBC Sport, Morelos has scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 1646 minutes of Scottish Premiership football for Rangers so far this season.
The 22-year-old striker scored at the weekend, as the youngster found the net in the 74th minute to help Rangers to a 3-0 victory over Livingston away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
Morelos has been a hit at Rangers since he moved from HJK in the summer of 2017, and there is no surprise to see the young striker linked with a move away from the Gers.
According to a report in The Daily Record last week, French club Nice are interested in signing the youngster in the January transfer window and are preparing a bid of £8 million.
Given how importance Morelos is for Rangers, it is hard to see the Gers accept a bid of just £8m for the youngster, especially as they do not have enough time to find a suitable replacement.
Former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie has suggested that he would accept an offer of £8m for Morelos, while ex-Scotland international attacking midfielder Kris Commons – who played for the Hoops from 2011 until 2017 – does not believe that Rangers fans and manager Gerrard will want to let go of the Colombian.
McAvennie said on Open Goal when asked if Rangers should take £8m for Morelos: “I would. The boy’s a good player, but he has got to get his temperament sorted. I think he has got away with a few things recently.”
Commons said about Morelos on Sky Sports Football on Sunday evening (6:02pm, January 27, 2019): “I don’t think Rangers are in a position to turn down a massive bid. Whether a massive bid comes in for him is very debatable anyway.
“I don’t think Steven Gerrard will want to let him go. I don’t think that the Rangers supporters will want to let him go.”
