Kris Commons reckons Lewis Morgan can play a number 10 role for Celtic.

Kris Commons has told Herald Scotland that Lewis Morgan could and should be used in a number 10 role for Celtic.
The Scottish winger joined Celtic in a £300,000 deal from St Mirren in January before being loaned straight back to Jack Ross’s side for the remainder of their Championship season.
Morgan, 21, scored 17 and set up eight goals in all competitions last season and Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers might have pulled off quite a coup, especially considering how cheap he was.
He has been playing left wing for much of the season, but Commons envisages a future for him in a playmaker role at Parkhead.
“He can see a pass and has a terrific eye for goal,” he told Herald Scotland. “He can play in that lovely little area and I think it is a role where you can improve with age.
“I don’t think Morgan has ever played beside international players or players who have been in European football.
“But the space in that No.10 role is only there if the other players around you move to create it.”

Rogic replacement?
Tom Rogic is refusing to extend his contract beyond next summer and the Australia midfielder – who will showcase his talents in the World Cup soon – is likely to be the subject of a flurry of interest.
With that in mind, it’s very possible that Celtic will need a new number 10 this summer, but if what Commons says is accurate, and Morgan can play there, then it remains to be seen if Rodgers already knows who will replace the 25-year-old star.
