James Forrest has been playing well for Celtic this season.

The former Celtic attacking midfielder believes that Forrest has been outstanding for the Glasgow giants this campaign.
Meanwhile, former Rangers striker Kris Boyd, now at Kilmarnock, has suggested that the 27-year-old Scotland international is still young enough to try his luck in the Premier League.
Commons believes that Forrest has been the best player in the Scottish Premiership this season, and said on the SPFL Matters show on Sky Sports Football (10:15pm, May 17, 2019): “James Forrest, I think, he has been consistently Celtic’s outstanding player. I think Callum McGregor also was a top, top player this season.
“James’s assists and also his goal contribution to Celtic through the course of the season, and James is one player that plays pretty much every single game. There is a huge emphasis on James to create goals and score goals. I think he has been an outstanding player this season.”
Boyd said about Forrest on the SPFL Matters show on Sky Sports Football (10:15pm, May 17, 2019): “He has probably achieved all he can achieve in Scottish football. It is similar to Scott Brown a number of years ago in terms of how good a player is Scott Brown.
“Can he go and play in the English Premier League? He has never done it. Could James Forrest do it? He is still young enough to go and try away from Celtic.”

Brilliant footballer
Forrest is one of the best wingers in the Scottish Premiership, and the Scotland international has been superb for Celtic this season.
According to BBC Sport, the 27-year-old scored 11 goals and provided nine assists in the Scottish Premiership this season.
The Scotland international has been at Celtic his entire professional club football career so far, and has won the Scottish league title eight times, the Scottish Cup four times and the Scottish League Cup on four occasions.
Forrest has been linked with moves away from Celtic, with The Scottish Sun claiming of Liverpool’s interest in the winger in January 2019 and The Times reporting that Leicester City want the £10 million-valued Scotsman in the summer transfer window.
