Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Graeme Murty decided to leave Kenny Miller on the sidelines, as they lost 4-0 to Celtic yesterday.

Rangers were beaten 4-0 by the Bhoys at Hampden Park yesterday, with Graeme Murty opting not to use his most experienced player.
Miller watched on from the sidelines, as Rangers failed to cope against Brendan Rodgers’ side.
And former Celtic midfielder Commons was shocked that the Ibrox side did not turn to Miller in their hour of need.

He said: “Rangers didn’t look as if they wanted to win the game. It was more of a containment plan.
“I was also amazed that Kenny Miller didn’t play any part.”
Rangers never looked like competing throughout the contest, as they slipped to a 4-0 defeat in the Scottish Cup semi-final.

Celtic took the lead through Tom Rogic and quickly doubled their advantage when Callum McGregor finished well.
From that point on it was just a question of how many Celtic would score, and they added further goals in the second half through Moussa Dembele and Olivier Ntcham.
The sizeable victory rather summed up the difference in quality between Celtic and Rangers currently, with Murty’s side having a lot of work to do before they can start competing with their Glasgow rivals again.
