Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want to bring Jordan Jones from Kilmarnock to Ibrox.

Rangers have been linked with Jordan Jones of Kilmarnock in the January transfer window.
According to BBC Sport, Rangers have had an offer of £350,000 for Jones rejected by Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock.
Jones is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in Steve Clarke’s team.
What is interesting about the 23-year-old midfielder is that he has improved as the 2017-18 campaign has progressed.

Kris Boyd’s comments about his Kilmarnock teammate Jones back in November 2017 now make for an interesting read.
Kilmarnock striker Boyd, who had two separate spells at Ibrox club Rangers, spoke about the penny finally dropping for the former Middlesbrough prospect.
The 34-year-old Scottish striker, who is now in his third spell at Rugby Park, spoke about how the midfielder has improved as a player since he first joined Killie.

Boyd told The Scotsman about Jones in November 2017: “When he came up here at first he had all the tricks and flicks, which probably a lot of academy kids in England have got.
“We were trying to play him in a wide role where he would take people on but there was no end product.
“I think Lee McCulloch started the process by talking to him on a daily basis and showing him what needs to be done and the gaffer has come in and done the same.
“But I think the biggest thing is that he’s started to listen to his team-mates. When you’ve got that talent, it sometimes annoys the life out of others when you do nothing with it.
“We can now see what he’s doing. He’s creating umpteen chances and over the last month he has been excellent.
“I think the penny has finally dropped about what he can do and what he can achieve in the game.”
Jones has steadily progressed this season, and one can understand why Rangers manager Graeme Murty is (reportedly) interested in signing the 23-year-old Northern Ireland international in the January transfer window.
