Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd suggests that Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Celtic could tempt David Turnbull.

Turnbull is one of the best young players in the Scottish Premiership, and former Rangers striker Boyd – now at Kilmarnock – believes that the Motherwell midfielder will be tempted by Celtic or Rangers if the Hoops or the Gers make a move for him this summer.
Boyd said about Turnbull on the SPFL Matters on Sky Sports Football (10:15pm, May 17, 2019): “I think there’s a potential that he could actually move this season. I think that’s how good a season he has had.”
Boyd added: “When Rangers and Celtic come calling, it is very difficult to say no, and we all know nowadays in football, if you don’t take that opportunity, it might not come again, and I think, if Motherwell were to get a very, very good offer in the summer, it will be very hard to turn down.”

Rangers or Celtic move this summer?
Turnbull was superb for Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership this season and was a key figure in their midfield.
The 19-year-old scored 15 goals and provided five assists in the league for Motherwell this season, according to BBC Sport.
Rangers and Celtic will be making signings in the summer transfer window, and one should not be surprised if the Gers or the Hoops decide to make an offer.
Interestingly, the Scotland Under-21 international has already been linked with moves away from Motherwell this season, with The Scottish Sun claiming that Derby County, Cardiff City and Bristol City are interested in the teenager.
