Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face Heart of Midlothian this weekend.

Boyd, who had two separate spells at Rangers and is now at Kilmarnock, believes that Sinclair will feature for Celtic against Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals on Sunday afternoon.
The 29-year-old winger came on as a substitute in the 71st minute against RB Leipzig in their Europa League match away from home on Thursday evening.
Boyd has suggested that Celtic manager Rodgers will recall Sinclair to the starting lineup for he match against Hearts.
“The loss of Scott Brown is obviously massive,” Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun. “Will Tom Rogic be fit? That’s another question.
“But I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Rodgers brings someone into the fold and asks him to deliver a big performance.
“I’m talking about Scott Sinclair. He didn’t start against Leipzig, and some people took that as a slap in the face to the winger. Not me.
“I think Rodgers will have prioritised this game and told Sinclair to make sure he’s ready to make an impact at Murrayfield. He’s not looked the same player from his first season.
“But there’s a big talent there and on his day Sinclair is still more than capable of being a match- winner for Celtic on the big stage.”

Celtic impact
Sinclair has not been in great form for Celtic so far this season and is not guaranteed a place in Rodgers’s starting lineup.
The former Aston Villa winger – who earns £25,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star – has scored one goal in six Scottish Premiership appearances for the Hoops so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
The 29-year-old, though, can produce the goods in the big matches, and the winger could well start against Hearts this weekend.
