Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are believed to be ready to move for Derek McInnes in the near future.

Kris Boyd has told BBC Sport that he believes Derek McInnes will take the Glasgow Rangers job.
Rangers are expected to move for the Aberdeen boss in the near future, with the Ibrox side set to move for the 46-year-old boss.
And Boyd believes that McInnes will be open to joining Rangers, as he could feel that he has taken Aberdeen as far as he can.
“Derek has probably taken Aberdeen as far as he can possibly go,” Boyd said.

“There’s no doubt he needs to get out of Aberdeen one way or another.
“Derek is now in a position where he can’t compete with the likes of Northampton and MK Dons to keep players there. How can he improve?
“He’s already lost [Niall] McGinn, he’s lost [Jonny] Hayes.
“If Aberdeen agree compensation with Rangers, Derek McInnes will be the manager of Rangers Football Club.”

McInnes has had great success at Aberdeen, with the Dons finishing above Rangers last season.
Rangers actually overtook Aberdeen last weekend, after they beat them at Pittodrie.
If McInnes does take over at Rangers it will bring to an end a lengthy managerial search since Pedro Caixinha’s departure.
McInnes’s first match in charge of the Gers could come at the weekend, when they take on Ross County.
Rangers will head into that match as the heavy favourites, and a victory would strengthen their hold on second spot in the division.
