Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham is reportedly wanted by FC Porto in the summer transfer window.

Olivier Ntcham of Celtic is seen during a training session at Lennoxtown Training Centre on April 27, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd has revealed in The Scottish Sun what he has been told about Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham.

Boyd, who is now on the books of Kilmarnock, has disclosed that he has been told that the agent of Ntcham knows about interest from FC Porto.

The Scottish striker, who had two separate spells at Rangers, has also revealed that the 22-year-old Celtic midfielder’s agent want a deal done before the summer transfer window closes this month.

According to A Bola, Portuguese giants FC Porto are interested in signing Ntcham from Celtic in the summer transfer window.

Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun: “I’m told, for example, that Olivier Ntcham’s agent is aware of interest from Porto — and they want a deal done before the window closes. What a hammer blow that would be to Celtic.”

Celtic Park stay

Ntcham is a very good midfielder and has established himself as an important player for Celtic, and it would be a blow for Brendan Rodgers’s side if the former Manchester City prospect leaves this summer.

However, Celtic fans should be confident that the Glasgow giants will be able to hold onto the Frenchman.

After all, with the summer transfer window set to close in a matter of days, it is hard to see Celtic sell Ntcham, especially as they will struggle to bring in a suitable replacement at such short notice.
