Brendan Rodgers has been in charge of Celtic since 2016.

Celtic have been hitting the headlines in recent days, with the Glasgow giants crashing out of the Champions League qualifiers and struggling defensively.
The situation of Dedryck Boyata has also been a distraction, with the Belgium international not playing against AEK Athens on Thursday evening and then training with the Under-20 side on Saturday, as reported on BBC Sport.
Celtic also missed on the signing of John McGinn to Aston Villa in the summer transfer window, according to BBC Sport.
Former Rangers striker Boyd, now on the books of Kilmarnock, has revealed that he has been told that Celtic manager Rodgers is not going to resign.
Boyd, though, has also stated that Celtic are already spending more money than they should.

“Domestically they have been brilliant but you’re a fool if you think they can have a major impact in Europe,” Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun. “But the problem he has is that Celtic are already spending more than they need to be spending.
“Their supporters should open their eyes to that, instead of blindly pointing fingers at the people in charge of the finances and blaming them for the lack of arrivals.”
Boyd added: “From what I’m told, this whole issue isn’t unsurmountable. No one is going to resign in protest or do anything daft like that.
“There’s a bit of a stand-off behind the scenes but that’s what tends to happen with managers and boards.”
Positive news
Rodgers has been superb for Celtic and has been a huge success, having guided the Hoops to the domestic treble for the past two seasons.
Missing out on a place in the group stage of the Champions League this season has been disappointing, but the Hoops are still favourites for the treble in Scotland.
