Ibrox outfit Glasgow Rangers are reportedly looking to appoint Pedro Caixinha as Mark Warburton’s successor.

Kris Boyd has suggested in The Scottish Sun that Rangers should not appoint Pedro Caixinha as the manager.
The Gers are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Mark Warburton last month due to a run of poor results in the Scottish Premiership.
According to The Daily Star, the Glasgow giants want to appoint Caixinha as their new boss.
Former Rangers striker Boyd, now on the books of Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock, believes that the 46-year-old Portuguese manager is not the right man for the Ibrox job.
The 33-year-old Scotsman, though, has stated that he hopes that he is wrong about Caixinha.
“Pedro Caixinha to Rangers doesn’t sit quite right with me,” Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun. “There’s something about this potential Ibrox managerial appointment which just doesn’t smell right.
“I really hope I’m wrong. I desperately want to see my old club back competing with Celtic as soon as possible.
“But I can’t help think bringing in Portuguese coach Caixinha only demonstrates everything that’s wrong with Gers these days.”
Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 46 points from 27 matches.
The Gers are six points behind second-placed Aberdeen and as many as 33 points behind leaders Celtic.
The Glasgow giants will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic will head into the match as favourites, but one should not be surprised if Rangers pick up at least a point from the encounter.
