Miller continues to be a vital member of Mark Warburton’s Glasgow Rangers side.
Rangers’ Kenny Miller
Kris Boyd has heaped praise upon Rangers striker Kenny Miller and suggested the reason why he continues to contribute at Ibrox, The Scottish Sun reports.
Miller’s 22nd minute goal against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Friday night not only inspired Mark Warburton’s men to a win, but it was also the goal that brought up the veteran’s century for the Light Blues across his three spells.

And with 33 of those strikes coming in his most recent spell – which began when the retired Scotland international was 34 – Boyd has explained why Miller remains so influential despite being well into what should be the twilight of his career.
“He is one of the most selfless players I have ever played with and undoubtedly the best strike partner I ever had,” he told The Scottish Sun.

“He’s fast approaching his 37th birthday but he’s showing no signs of slowing down.
“He’s adapted his game down through the years and that’s why I believe he’s getting better as time goes by.”

The goal against Caley made the former Wolves man the Gers’ leading goalscorer in the Scottish Premiership this term, which is arguably incredible given that there were several players who were scoring for fun last season.
And with Miller being one of the few members of Warburton’s squad that understands what it takes to play at the highest level in Scotland, his ability to keep contributing will be crucial as the rest of his teammates continue to get up to speed with the demands of the top flight.
