Rangers drew 0-0 at Livingston on Sunday evening, squandering a chance to pull eight points clear of Celtic.
The Gers headed to the Tony Macaroni Arena having won three in three start the season, and Sunday’s game was a chance to really turn the pressure up on Celtic.
Neil Lennon’s men drew at Kilmarnock last weekend, but now haven’t been in action due to Boli Bolingoli breaking lockdown protocol.
Rangers could have opened up an eight-point gap, but turned in a flat performance against a resilient Livingston side.
The Gers had 23 shots but only three of them were on target, as they served up a rather toothless performance – even with new boys Cedric Itten and Kemar Roofe coming off the bench.
Arguably the most disappointing performance of the day went to Ianis Hagi, as the summer signing from Genk was largely anonymous.

The Romanian playmaker was hooked for Roofe on 58 minutes having made virtually no impact on the game, and ex-Rangers striker Kris Boyd didn’t hold back.
The pundit told Sky Sports (16/08, 6:37pm) that he felt Hagi ‘didn’t look interested’, adding that the game simply passed him by whilst demanding more from Rangers’ big summer addition.
“I thought Ianis Hagi didn’t do anything in terms of touches,” said Boyd. “I don’t want to label it at him, but to be honest he didn’t look interested. A lot of the time it looked as if the game just passed him by. With everything that’s at stake, you need to go and demand a ball,” he added.
