Nottingham Forest-owned Joe Worrall, Kyle Lafferty and Jordan Rossiter were in action for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers side on Sunday.

The former Rangers striker, who had two separate spells at Ibrox, made the comments following the Gers’ 1-1 draw with Dundee away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Boyd, who is now at Kilmarnock, was not impressed with the performances of forward Lafferty, Nottingham Forest-owned defender Worrall and midfielder Rossiter.
The 35-year-old Scottish striker also stated that Rangers manager Gerrard does not know his best XI yet.
Boyd said on Sky Sports Football on Sunday afternoon (3:51pm, December 9, 2018): “Kyle Lafferty has not looked anywhere near what we know Kyle Lafferty can do.
“Jordan Rossiter has had chance after chance in a Rangers jersey and not delivered. Joe Worrall came up and started his Rangers career alright. But he looked a pale shadow of the player he was a few weeks ago out there.”
Boyd added: “For me, if you had to go and ask Steven Gerrard to pick his best XI right now, I don’t think he knows it.”
Title challenge
Rangers lost to Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership last week, and the draw with Dundee on Sunday was a huge disappointment for the Gers.
The Gers are second in the league table at the moment, but Rangers need to put together a run of positive results in order to increase the pressure on bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.
