Steven Davis has made his loan move from Southampton to Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers permanent.

Davis, signed on loan from Southampton in the January transfer window, did not start his second spell at Rangers strongly.
The 34-year-old midfielder, though, has been superb for the Ibrox club in recent weeks and has established himself as an important player for the Gers.
The Northern Ireland international has made eight starts and four substitute appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers this season, according to WhoScored.
Rangers recently decided to make Davis’s loan deal permanent, and Kilmarnock striker Boyd – who had two separate spells at Ibrox, has outlined what made the midfielder get better in recent weeks.

Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun: “The fact Steven Gerrard has played him in the right position in the last month or so has helped.
“To begin with, he asked Davo to play further forward and that’s never really been his game despite how forward-thinking he is.
“He’s about running the game from deep, taking the ball, seeing a pass and having the courage to play it.”
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 72 points from 35 matches.
The Gers will take on Hibernian at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Rangers are already guaranteed of the runners-up spot, with Celtic having won the league title.
