Glasgow Rangers striker Kenny Miller is reportedly not part of Pedro Caixinha’s first team at Ibrox at the moment.

Kenny Miller is one of the best and most experienced players in the current Rangers squad, but at the moment he seems to be out of favour with manager Pedro Caixinha.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, the striker has fallen out of favour with Caixinha and is not part of the first team at the moment.
The 37-year-old former Celtic, Hibernian and Wolverhampton Wanderers striker did not feature for Rangers against Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership last week.
Instead, the Scotsman turned out for the Rangers development team against the Brentford reserves at the weekend.
Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd, now on the books of Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock, has given his take on the situation, suggesting a reason behind Caixinha’s (reported) action, which is quite controversial.

“For me, Caixinha has taken on Miller as the biggest name at Ibrox to try and convince everyone he’s a tough guy,” Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun. “But Gers fans need to see through that.
“There was also the things he said to the home-based players about showing more togetherness with the foreign players. But if Caixinha expects the red carpet he’s kidding himself on.”

Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 14 points from eight matches.
The Gers are six points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic and Aberdeen, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
