Rangers are in turmoil right now – and former Ibrox man Kris Boyd has slammed a lack of togetherness.

Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd has told The Scottish Sun that he noticed a real lack of togetherness on the Gers bench against Celtic on Sunday.
Rangers went into Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against their bitter rivals with real belief that they were closing the gap to the Bhoys, having impressed in the 3-2 defeat to Brendan Rodgers’ side last month.
However, it proved to be a nightmare afternoon at Hampden Park, as Rangers were 2-0 down before half time thanks to goals from Tom Rogic and Callum McGregor.
It got even worse in the second half as Ross McCrorie was sent off for bringing down Moussa Dembele, with the French striker converting the subsequent penalty himself, before Olivier Ntcham added a penalty of his own after Jason Holt had hacked down Patrick Roberts.

The aftermath of the game hasn’t been pretty; Andy Halliday was seen screaming at interim boss Graeme Murty after his substitution, teammates Greg Docherty and Alfredo Morelos had their own bust-up, and Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have both been suspended for rowing with Murty after the full-time whistle.
Big changes may be needed at Ibrox this summer, and whilst a new manager is inevitable, an overhaul of the playing staff may also be needed given the attitude of the squad.
In fact, ex-Rangers striker Kris Boyd has now told The Scottish Sun that he noticed coaches Jonatan Johansson and Jimmy Nicholl sitting back in the dugout, well away from the touchline, suggesting that it highlighted the lack of togetherness which sums up Rangers right now.
“Did you notice throughout the game, too, that Jonatan Johansson and Jimmy Nicholl stayed in the dugout for most of the 90 minutes? There didn’t seem to be a lot of togetherness there,” said Boyd. “But that’s Rangers right now. From top to bottom,” he added.
