Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers have brought Jason Cummings to Ibrox from Nottingham Forest.

Rangers have signed Cummings from Nottingham Forest in the Championship in England in the January transfer window.
Graeme Murty’s side have secured the services of the former Hibernian striker on loan for the rest of the season.
Cummings failed to make an impact Forest in the first half of the season, but the 22-year-old was a success at Hibs and is a proven goalscorer in Scotland.
Kilmarnock striker Boyd, who had two different spells at Rangers, has hailed the Gers’ decision to sign Cummings from Forest, and believes that the Ibrox faithful will love him.

Boyd wrote about Cummings in The Scottish Sun: “Jason Cummings is an arrogant young man who swaggers around the football pitch as if he owns it. And that’s EXACTLY what I like about him and what Rangers need right now.
“Some people might consider arrogance to be a fault in a person. But I reckon it’s a huge plus for a player who’s going to be leading the line for Rangers.”
“Rangers fans will love him because of his huge personality,” added Boyd. “Yes, he’s arrogant – but he’ll need to be to handle everything that comes with playing for either half of the Old Firm.”

Rangers needed a proven goalscorer who can also create chances, and Cummings is just that.
The youngster has arrived at Ibrox hungry for playing time and with a burning ambition to succeed.
The Ibrox club are unlikely to catch Old Firm rivals Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table this season, but Murty’s side can certainly finish second.
