Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass is playing well for the Gers and has impressed former Ibrox striker Kris Boyd.

Michael Stewart has praised the attitude of Rangers midfielder Josh Windass in The Scottish Sun.
Windass is playing well for Rangers at the moment and has established himself as a key figure in Graeme Murty’s team.
The 24-year-old midfielder is creating chances and is scoring goals, and former Manchester United and Hibernian midfielder Stewart, who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport, has been impressed.

Stewart wrote in The Scottish Sun: “The other thing I like about Windass is his attitude is also spot on right now. I was at McDiarmid Park on Tuesday to watch Rangers beat St Johnstone 4-1.
“It was an impressive win — but afterwards Windass and Sean Goss were still unhappy. They both said afterwards that they were unhappy with their second half performance. They have that bit between the teeth right now and that must be music to the Rangers manager’s ears.”
Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd has also praised Windass for his recent performances and for adding goals to his game.
The 34-year-old Scotsman, who had two different spells at Rangers, has admitted that the former Accrington Stanley star has made him eat his words.
Boyd wrote in The Scottish Sun: “I said not long ago that Windass wasn’t scoring enough goals for me. Well, he’s certainly rammed those words back down my throat.
“He has everything going for him. Pace, power and work-rate matched by his team-mates.”

Improvement
Windass is a very talented and promising midfielder, and the 24-year-old’s recent performances suggest that he can become even better.
What the midfielder has added to his game are goals and consistency, and the Rangers team are better for it.
Rangers will take on bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership next weekend.
