Celtic will now be focusing on winning the treble-treble before the season draws to a close.

Tomas Rogic and James Forrest of Celtic celebrate after the third goal during the Scottish Cup semi-final between Aberdeen and Celtic at Hampden Park on April 14, 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Kris Boyd has admitted that he loves watching Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic in action as he lauded his technical ability and labelled him a ‘magician’.

The 26-year-old, when fit and available, has played a key part in The Bhoys winning the Scottish Premiership title this season and he will be even more important in their quest to win that historic treble-treble.

On Sunday afternoon, the club did suffer a bit of a blip when they were beaten 2-0 by their Old Firm rivals, with Rogic playing 71 minutes at Ibrox.

Speaking to Sky Sports Football (12/05/2019 at 11:50 am), Kilmarnock striker Boyd shared what he likes about Rogic and why he’s a forwards dream.

“He’s a magician,” Boyd told Sky Sports Football. “I love watching him play football. His touch and he sees everything around him.

“He’s a strikers dream. You can just go because he’ll find you. He’s always playing with his head up. His first touch is unbelievable. From a strikers point of view, you would love to play in front of him because he’ll make runs and he’ll find you.”

The performance at Ibrox would not have impressed many Celtic supporters, with the midfield, in particular, struggling to prove their worth on the day.

But when looking at the bigger picture, Celtic have won eight-in-a-row and in a few weeks time, they could be writing themselves in the history books by winning the treble-treble.

Next Sunday, Lennon’s side will host Hearts on home soil as they will more than likely celebrate their Scottish Premiership title before taking on the same team at Hampden the following week in the Scottish Cup final.
