Speaking to Liverpool’s official club website, Kostas Tsimikas has labelled Andy Robertson as the best left-back in the world.
The Greek full-back has been playing second-fiddle to Robertson over the past 12 months, and he acknowledges that his teammate is amongst the world’s best.
Tsimikas plans on challenging Robertson for a first team spot next term, but he understands that he’ll have to work incredibly hard to usurp the Scot.

Tsimikas was talking about his goals for the upcoming season, and he labelled Robertson as the best left-back in the world.
“Now I am more ready and in good shape to give everything for the team and help them to achieve our goals,” Tsimikas said.
“I know I have to challenge the best left-back in the world (Robertson). This gives me the power to do my work well every day, to continue working hard and to continue to be as good as I can.
“My target for next season is to stay healthy, first of all, and after to play more games and help my team.”

Is the 27-year-old the best left-back in the world?
He certainly has a strong case to make, and it’s hard to name a player more deserving of that label.
Perhaps Alphonso Davies would have something to say about that, but the Canadian hasn’t proven himself over as long a period of time as Robertson.
The Scot is undoubtedly one of the greatest full-backs on the planet, and Tsimikas thinks he’s the top dog when it comes to left-backs.
