Defensive duo Kortney Hause and Tyrone Mings played a big part in Aston Villa’s promotion to the Premier League last season.

Kortney Hause has joked on Instagram that he will ‘delete’ Tyrone Mings’ number and unfollow him on social media if he doesn’t sign for Aston Villa.
Last season, both Hause and Mings joined Villa on-loan in January from their respective clubs and they both played a huge part in Dean Smith’s side earning promotion to the Premier League.
Villa’s season ended in May and since then they have signed a few players, including making Hause’s loan deal from Midland rivals Wolves permanent. But Bournemouth-owned Mings is yet to put pen-to-paper.
Hause was asked by a supporter on his personal Instagram account how he would react if a deal for the defensive powerhouse doesn’t materialise:

The Birmingham Mail have claimed that Villa have opened talks to sign £15 million-rated Mings on a permanent basis this summer.
Even though Hause added versatility and quality to Villa’s backline last term, Mings was no doubt the standout performer due to his calmness, ability to sense danger and leadership skills.
Getting him to return to the club this summer will be massive for Villa and Dean Smith’s plans of staying in the Premier League.
At this moment in time, versatile defender Hause, playmaker Jota, winger Anwar El Ghazi and Club Brugge powerhouse Wesley Moraes have put pen-to-paper with the newly-promoted side.
