Aston Villa signed Kortney Hause from Wolverhampton Wanderers this week.

Aston Villa handed new signing Kortney Hause his debut yesterday, with the defender coming on as a second half substitute in the 3-0 defeat at Wigan Athletic.
Villa were a shambles at the DW Stadium, and it didn’t exactly get better after Hause came on for Tommy Elphick in the 63rd minute of the game.
Wigan went on to score twice after Hause’s introduction, with the defender’s poor pass to Glenn Whelan leading to Josh Windass winning a penalty.
After half a season sitting in the stands at Wolves, it’s no great surprise that Hause is a little rusty, but he should still be a solid signing for Villa moving forward.
The 23-year-old can play at centre back or left back, and will surely offer Dean Smith great versatility this season and potentially beyond, as he is on loan until the end of the season with a potential permanent deal.

After completing his move to Villa Park on Monday, Hause spoke to the club’s official YouTube channel about the switch, and made huge comments about Villa’s facilities.
Hause hailed the Bodymoor Heath training ground as ‘very attractive’, and called Villa Park itself ‘unbelievable’, with the defender itching to get going at his new home.
“It’s a very attractive training ground,” said Hause. “I’ve been to the stadium as well, and it’s unbelievable. There’s a lot of history at the club, so I just want to get going here,” he added.
