Some Arsenal fans have responded to Konstantinos Mavropanos’s post on Twitter after he played against Matteo Guendouzi on Saturday.
Mavropanos is on loan at Stuttgart from Arsenal at the moment, having joined the German club from the Gunners in the summer of 2020.
Guendouzi also moved to the Bundesliga from Arsenal in the summer of 2020, signing a loan deal with Hertha Berlin.
The two Arsenal-owned players lined up against each other in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw, and Mavropanos has taken to Twitter to reflect on the result, with some Arsenal fans responding to it, as shown below.
Mavropanos has made eight starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Stuttgart so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The 23-year-old will hope to play regularly for the German club in the coming weeks and months.
Arsenal are not lacking in centre-backs, with William Saliba also out on loan, and the Greek youngster will find it hard to break into manager Mikel Arteta’s first team.
However, if the 23-year-old does well in his loan spell in Germany, then he will get the chance to impress Arteta in pre-season.
