Kolo Toure leaves Celtic for Leicester City as well.
Kolo Toure has left Celtic to join Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City [BBC Sport].
The former Premier League champion has joined the Foxes as first-team coach.
He is the third of Rodgers’s staff at Celtic to have followed the Northern Irishman, who also brought Chris Davies and Glen Driscoll to the King Power Stadium with him.
Toure, who won a domestic treble with the Bhoys during his one and only season up North, is reported to have played a big role in Timothy Weah’s transfer to Parkhead.
The 18-year-old striker joined Celtic on a half-season loan from Paris Saint-Germain and, according to RMC Sport at the time, the former centre-back spoke and interviewed the youngster prior to Rodgers sanctioning the transfer.
He might not be the last figure who Rodgers prises away from Glasgow and, worryingly, it could be a player next time.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rodgers will try and bring left-back Kieran Tierney to the Premier League if he loses Ben Chilwell this summer.
