Feyenoord star Orkun Kokcu has put the ball in his club’s court over his future.
Kokcu, 19, is on Arsenal’s radar, the Evening Standard reported last week, with the same publication linking him with a £23 million move.
The winger says he is happy at Feyenoord, but wants to see more of a commitment to him from the club.
Speaking to Voetbal International, Kokcu admitted he is unsettled by the ongoing transfer talk.
He explained: “I’m not ready [to leave] here yet, I’m having a good time, I want to become champion next year.
“But I’ve had an offer twice now [to leave] that – with all due respect – wasn’t what I’d hoped for.”
He says he wonders if the club are trying to create a market for him.
Kokcu said: “It sometimes feels like the club is pulling the time to sell me after all. That there is no turning back then. It feels a bit uncomfortable. Does Feyenoord want me to stay? “
He added that he does not want to be the highest paid player at the club, but just wants to feel important.

Behind the scenes developments at Feyenoord could give Kokcu exactly what he wants.
De Telegraaf report that a group of American investors have ‘serious interest’ in a takeover of the Rotterdam based club.
This would strengthen Feyenoord’s negotiating position, and allow them to pay Kokcu a higher wage, with a longer contract.
For now his future is in the balance, but if Arsenal leave their interest too late, their task in signing him could become a lot tougher.
