The Manchester city star could be an excellent addition to the Everton squad this summer.
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has been incredibly active in the transfer market already this summer, spending well in excess of £100 million in the process.
The Dutchman’s work is far from complete, however, with the strengthening of his attacking options surely a high priority for him over the next couple of weeks.
With Yannick Bolasie still recovering from the serious injury that ended his campaign last season, and Aaron Lennon’s future uncertain to say the least, the addition of an established winger is just what Everton require, and a useful option for them could be Manchester City’s Patrick Roberts.

The 20-year-old impressed whilst on loan with Celtic last term, displaying his incredible quality, and mature manner in which he goes about his business.
The Fulham academy graduate is left footed, and is at his best when deployed in the right-wing role, from where he is renowned for cutting inside before either unleashing a powerful shot or whipping a potent delivery into the box.
Roberts has superb work-ethic – something that is a prerequisite for any Koeman signing, and his impressive energy levels make him perfectly suited to the Dutchman’s high intensity pressing game.
The City star would provide great competition for places in the wide attacking areas, and the potential that he has to come one of the country’s best players could surely be realised playing under a manager of Koeman’s ilk.
The silky winger is under contract at the Etihad for another three years, however, so he will surely not come cheap, but that will not be an issue for the Merseyside outfit, who are sitting on a mountain of cash, following Romelu Lukaku’s sale to Manchester United.
The Blues boss has become well-known for giving youngsters a chance during his time in football management, and if he manages to bring Roberts to Goodison Park this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Everton, both in the present, and for the future.
