The striker is exactly what Everton need and they should attempt to convince him a move to Goodison Park is the right one.

Sandro Ramirez at Barcelona

According to a recent report from Spanish newspaper Sport, Everton may be frustrated in their attempts to sign Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez this summer as he is keen to remain in his homeland, with Atletico Madrid a potential destination depending on the circumstances surrounding their transfer ban.

But despite that, Toffees manager Ronald Koeman should not give up hope of bringing the 21-year-old to Goodison Park and should pull out all the stops to convince the Spaniard that a move to England would be the right choice at this stage of his career.

With the right signings this summer Everton could make a significant step up, and it is players like Sandro that could make all the difference.

Considering his cut-price release clause and his eye for goal, a move would be a no-brainer, and footballing history is full of stories of managers making last ditch trips and inviting players to their houses to pull off the ultimately charm offensive.

Sandro has scored 16 goals in 30 matches this season, and his ability to play on either wing or up front means he could be a solution to a whole host of problems over an entire campaign on Merseyside.

Some of the smartest transfers have come from managers who favour the personal touch, who make it clear to a player just how much they are wanted and just how much impact they could have if they took the plunge.

Sandro could be an Everton superstar, and Koeman should keep going until there is absolutely no chance of a deal.
