Everton manager Ronald Koeman has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over the Black Cats at Goodison Park.

Idrissa Gueye put the Merseyside outfit in the lead in the 40th minute, and Romelu Lukaku doubled the advantage on 80 minutes.

Everton boss Koeman has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Everton had 63% of the possession, took 20 shots of which eight were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Sunderland had 37% of the possession, took 10 shots of which one was on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.

Everton are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 44 points from 26 matches.

The Merseyside outfit will return to action next weekend when they take on Tottenham Hotspur away from home at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
