Everton manager Ronald Koeman has told the club’s official website that their summer signings have settled in quickly to life at Goodison Park.
The Blues boss was relatively busy this summer, adding five new players to the squad he inherited from Roberto Martinez.
That means there is still a lot of adjustment needed at the club at this moment in time, with players getting accustomed to the new system and likewise the team getting accustomed to their new players.

Koeman has good news on the first issue, though, saying their new signings have settled in well at the club since arriving.
“They [the new players] have settled in very well,” he told the club’s official website.
“It’s sometimes difficult [to adapt] and that little understanding that you need with your teammates, they still need to improve that. They [also need to] learn the way we play, what we like and what we want from each player.”

With the transfer window now closed until January, it is likely that getting those summer signings settled in will be top of Koeman’s priority list in the coming weeks.
The Blues have already made a strong start to the season and getting his new players settled into the side quickly will only help to build on that.
A big decision he will have to make will be with his defence and whether he opts to continue with a back three or switch to a more conventional back four.
