While some Liverpool fans were impressed with the performance of Thiago Alcantara for Bayern Munich against Chelsea in the Champions League on Saturday evening, Don Hutchison was not pleased with the central midfielder jumping out of a 50-50 challenge during the game at the Allianz Arena.

Liverpool are interested in signing Thiago and are favourites to secure his services this summer, according to The Mirror.

The Spain international central midfielder was in action for Bayern in their Champions League tie against Chelsea on Saturday evening, and some fans of the Merseyside outfit were impressed, as shown below.

The 29-year-old took one shot which was not on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 90.6%, won three headers, took 75 touches, and made six tackles and one interception, according to WhoScored.

According to WhoScored, the former Barcelona star made 20 starts and four substitute appearances in the Bundesliga, and has provided two assists in seven Champions League matches for Bayern this season.

While some Liverpool fans were impressed with the display produced by Thiago, ex-Red midfielder Hutchison noticed something which he thinks manager Jurgen Klopp will not like.
