Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno looks set to leave for free in 2019.

Deals between the Premier League’s top six aren’t a regular occurrence, but the occasional move between the clubs does happen.
Arsenal and Manchester United swapped Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan earlier this year, whilst Tottenham sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City in 2017 – and two players may well be changing top six clubs in 2019.
The Mirror reported last month that Liverpool are keen to land Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, with the Welshman out of contract at the end of the season.
And last week, The Mirror claimed that Arsenal want to land Liverpool left back Alberto Moreno in a bid to reunite him with his former Sevilla boss Unai Emery.
Both players become free agents next summer, and Liverpool should be pushing for a January swap deal involving the two players in order to give themselves a boost for the second half of the season.
Liverpool have been lacking a real playmaker this season, and whilst Xherdan Shaqiri has shown some promise infield, landing a natural central midfielder who can bring goals and assists has to be a priority after selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona earlier this year.

Ramsey fits the bill, and using Arsenal’s interest in Moreno to land Ramsey in January would be a smart move to secure a creative midfielder without breaking the bank would be a superb move, even if a small fee would be required alongside Moreno.
Losing cover for Andrew Robertson may be a blow, but with Joe Gomez and Nathaniel Clyne both able to play there and Adam Lewis coming up through the ranks, Klopp should certainly seize the opportunity to offer up Moreno for Ramsey in January.
