Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested to Amazon Prime that he was surprised that coach Pete Krawietz didn’t look happier when his side scored their third goal of the night against Wolves.
Liverpool picked up a 4-0 win at Anfield yesterday and Klopp was in a happy mood after the game.
The Reds boss particularly enjoyed Liverpool’s third goal, which was scored by Joel Matip from a corner.
Liverpool took the corner short, before Mo Salah created an opening and put in a pin point cross for Matip to head home from.
And Klopp revealed that the goal was perfectly designed from the training ground, although Krawietz could’ve appeared more pleased with his work.
“Mo is an exceptionally good player. I love the set piece goal,” Klopp said.
“Pete Krawietz is responsible on our team for set pieces. I told him ‘you sit on the bench like we conceded!’

“It was exactly like we planned it, exactly like it should have been. That was really good.”
Matip’s goal really sealed the deal for Liverpool on a night where they were rarely tested.
The Reds have suffered badly with injuries this term, but they just continue to pick up victory after victory.
Only goal difference is keeping Liverpool off the top of the Premier League table as things stand, with their next league match coming against struggling Fulham, when they will be expected to pick up another three points.
