The Liverpool manager was speaking from the club’s pre-season tour of the USA.

The comments, combined with Brewster’s form in pre-season friendlies, almost makes it inevitable that the youngster can expect to make his competitive senior debut over the coming months.
The teenager has been in lethal goalscoring form of late. He netted twice in a 6-0 thrashing of Tranmere Rovers, once against Bradford City and coolly slotted in a penalty against Borussia Dortmund.
He’ll be on the hunt for goals again later on Wednesday, likely to feature in some fashion against Portuguese side Sporting in New York.
Explaining that the Reds won’t be busy in the transfer market over the next couple of weeks, Klopp used Brewster as an example of players the club must use in 2019/20.
As quoted by The Liverpool Echo, he said: “Rhian Brewster, Joe Gomez, Adam Lallana, it’s all clear. We have these players, now we have to use them.
“If they are playing, then good. If not, then they have to push the others. That’s how it should be. That’s how good squads work, and that’s what we believe in.”
Klopp has shown in the past he is not afraid to utilise youth when its warranted, with the rise of Trent Alexander-Arnold being the perfect example.
Brewster is now 19 and having already gone through career lows, suffering a horror injury last January, is ready to take his opportunities and push on to compete for places in Liverpool’s talented attack.

With 15 goals and 13 assists in 36 appearances for the club’s youth and reserve sides, he’s outgrown that level of football and it sounds like Klopp is ready to invest a bit of playing time in his legs.
The player was named on the bench for both the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Barcelona and the final against Tottenham Hotspur.
The countdown is now on to when fans can get a glimpse of him when the real competitive action starts again next month.
