Jurgen Klopp has told the Liverpool Echo that he thinks that Harvey Elliott is ‘incredible’.
Liverpool won 2-0 yesterday, with Curtis Jones coming off the bench and scoring late on.
Jones has been the Liverpool youngster taking the headlines recently, after penning a new contract at Anfield.
But Klopp says that he remains a big fan of Elliott, and it was difficult not opting to bring him on to the pitch.
“It is hard to bring on Curtis and Neco and Harvey is sitting there because he is incredible,” Klopp said.
“We take the situation completely serious. They do not play because they are young. Curtis came on and was involved in everything. The goal he deserves. He anticipated it.”
Elliott may still get his chance in the Premier League for Liverpool before the end of the season.

The teenaged attacker has played a handful of Liverpool games this season and he has never looked out of place in their first-team.
It is expected that Elliott will be handed an increased amount of game time next term, when his importance to the Reds is set to grow even further.
Klopp has tended to name strong line-ups since the restart, but could be more inclined to rotate between now and the end of the season, with Liverpool returning to winning ways yesterday.
