Jurgen Klopp put out an experimental Liverpool XI in midweek for their final Champions League game in the 1-1 draw at Midtjylland.
But it’s back to the cut-throat business of Premier League football today and for the trip to Fulham, Klopp has to recall quite a few Reds players.
Joel Matip, who earns £100,000 per week at Liverpool, dropped to the bench for the visit to Denmark but the big centre-back is almost certain to return alongside Fabinho today.
And behind them, there could be a welcome return in the form of Alisson.
The £66 million Brazilian goalkeeper has sat out the Reds’ last two games through injury, but former Roma stopper has been training in recent days and taking his place between the sticks at Craven Cottage seems logical, even if Caoimhin Kelleher has deputised superbly.
And up front there’s likely to be a recall for Roberto Firmino.
Diogo Jota started ahead of Firmino in Denmark, and on quite a few other occasions this season, but the Portugal international has a knock – according to Klopp – and that should, in theory, open the door for the Brazilian hitman to come back into the starting lineup.
Here’s how Liverpool could line up: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson; Henderson, Wijnaldum, Keita; Mane, Salah, Firmino
