Well, Arthur Melo clearly isn’t leaving Liverpool.
The Juventus loanee has endured a horrendous six months at Anfield but primarily due to injury.
Arthur has only managed 13 minutes of senior football for Liverpool since joining on a season-long loan from the Italian outfit toward the end of the summer transfer window.
It was suggested that the Reds may terminate his agreement in January and send him back to Turin – something Fabrizio Romano denied, as covered by HITC Sport.
And Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he is looking ‘pretty good’ at Kirkby in regards to his running, and that he’ll be back to full training within a few weeks.

He told The Evening Standard during press conference ahead of the FA Cup visit to Brighton: “I would say pretty good. He’s running a lot. If everything is well I think two, three weeks maybe until he can join team training. But it looks good for a while already. It was now a long injury, so he needs a proper buildup. He was not a part of team training or whatever, not at all.”
This is a potential boost for Liverpool because he could be fit in time for the visit of Real Madrid in the Champions League next month.
What a story it would be if Arthur were to shake off his injury problems and prove himself a big player for Klopp during the second half of the campaign – and he could.
The bar isn’t too high for Liverpool midfielders this season, it has to be said.
Would it be a massive surprise if Arthur did actually prove that he could be an asset in this team? Not exactly, no.
