Liverpool are back in Premier League action on Saturday, and it’s fair to say this could be a rather emotional affair.

Indeed, The Reds face Aston Villa in what will be Steven Gerrard’s return to Anfield as a manager.

The Anfield faithful will undoubtedly give Gerrard an incredible reception and this should be a fantastic occasion.

However, while fans will probably love seeing Gerrard back at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp will be keen to spoil his homecoming by taking three points from his Aston Villa side.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Liverpool’s starting XI for this match.

We think that Klopp will make seven changes from the team that started against AC Milan in midweek.

Klopp rotated heavily against Milan, so we think he’ll go back to a more tried and trusted side here.

The entire back four changes as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Andy Robertson return.

The midfield is also completely different as the reliable trio of Fabinho, Thiago and Jordan Henderson come in for Tyler Morton, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Takumi Minamino.

Interestingly, the front three remains the same. Divock Origi gets another chance to impress as Diogo Jota remains a doubt for this one, while Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah start on the flanks.
