Liverpool are still on the hunt for a historic quadruple, and after receiving a favourable draw in the Champions League, all of a sudden, the FA Cup is looking like one of the tougher competitions for the Reds.

The Merseyside outfit face Manchester City for the second time in a week on Saturday, and they will be hoping for another strong performance against their biggest rivals.

The Reds drew 3-3 with Benfica in midweek with a rotated squad, but that rotation should allow Jurgen Klopp to field his best XI here.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Liverpool’s starting XI for this one.

We think that Klopp will make seven changes from the team that started against Benfica as he reverts back to the side that drew with City last week.

Liverpool have City a real scare at the Etihad last weekend, and it’s hard to make a case for changing anything on the back of that performance.

To be honest, the one player who you could probably argue for dropping is Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian hasn’t scored from open play since February, and with Roberto Firmino and Luis Diaz in red hot form, there may be the temptation to drop Salah.

However, of course, it’s almost impossible to drop a player like Salah in a game as big as this, so we expect the Reds to field the exact XI that started at the Etihad a week ago.
