Liverpool may be glad that their home leg in the Champions League against RB Leipzig is going to be played in Hungary after their poor run of form at Anfield lately.

The Reds’ dream of retaining their Premier League title seems to be all but over, but if we’ve learnt anything about Liverpool over the years, it’s that you can’t write them off in Europe.

Indeed, Liverpool come into this game with a 2-0 aggregate lead, and barring a disaster, the Reds should be through to the Quarter-finals.

However, it has to be said that nothing appears to be routine for Liverpool at the moment, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Reds’ starting XI.

We expect Liverpool to go with a strong XI for this one.

The Reds are desperate for a win in order to build a bit of confidence after a bad run, and if we’re being brutally honest, they can’t afford to risk elimination here as it could completely derail what is turning out to be a rather disastrous season.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ozan Kabak and Fabinho come back into the back four, while Thiago comes in for James Milner in the midfield.

Sadio Mane comes in for Xherdan Shaqiri, while Diogo Jota starts through the middle after Roberto Firmino reportedly picked up a knock.
